Today, I wanted to share with you my go-to items for capturing stunning wedding flat lays! If you’re not familiar, a flat lay is essentially a beautifully composed shot of carefully arranged wedding details. I’ve learned that the more my clients set aside specifically for these kinds of photos, the more breathtaking the results. That’s why I always encourage my clients to gather a collection of items for me, ready and waiting in a box or bag when I first arrive on the wedding day. And don’t worry, if you don’t have them all, I have the rest! By doing so, we can create magic together!

My absolute must-haves!

1. Bride shoes
2. Bride Jewelry
3. Invites/envelopes
4. Save the dates
5. ALL rings! This includes engagement rings and both bands.

Optional: (The more the better!)

1. Perfume

5. Special or sentimental items / heirlooms
