Graduation Session | Kennedy Aswegan

Recently, I got to capture Kennedy’s graduation session from MSU! She’s my first Michigan State University graduate that I’ve had the honor of photographing. Kennedy is such an amazing woman and she has worked so incredibly hard. She has such passion and determination, and she’s accomplished so much. College is no easy thing, and I’m always blown away when I hear about people’s journeys through school. We had such a great time during this shoot, it was so fun getting to know Kennedy.

We met up at the Michigan State University for the shoot and I was amazed by how gorgeous the campus was. There were so many incredible photo spots to choose from! I loved the shots we got in front of the pink flowers, it really brought out Kennedy’s stunning and bright personality. Then, we took some in front of the huge school logo… go Spartans! Next, we got some breathtaking pictures in front of the main buildings with the school name in big beautiful letters. We found a couple of other hidden little spots as well that made her session so unique.

Overall, this graduation session was definitely one to remember. As I looked at the images afterward, I was reminded of why I became a photographer in the first place. My photos are so much more than just a physical representation of that special day. They convey the emotion of a lifetime of hard work and determination that brought Kennedy to that success. These photos are a beautiful reminder of Kennedy’s journey, and it’s an honor that I get to be a part of that. Congratulations Kennedy!
