What To And Not To Wear To Your Session

Choosing what to wear for your session can be a pretty daunting task. I’m here to help! Through my years of being a photographer, I have picked up a bunch of helpful tips that will make your decision easier. Choosing the right outfit really affects the overall look of your final gallery. There is a lot of aspects to take into consideration to make sure your photos turn out the best they can possibly be. What to Wear:

1. Choose clothes that fit well and make you feel confident. The most important thing when choosing your outfit is that you want to feel your best! The more confident you feel the better!

2. Accessorize with jewelry, hats, scarves, or other items that add interest and personality to your photos. Choose accessories that feel like you!

3. Consider the location of your session when deciding what to wear. Try to choose colors that will complement and not clash with the environment around you.

What Not to Wear:

1. Avoid wearing clothes with logos or writing on them. These can be distracting in your photos and take away from the focus of the image. Of course, there are exceptions to this tip, but as a general rule avoiding logos is a good idea.

2. Try to avoid clothing with busy patterns or stripes. These can clash with the background and create a messy look for your gallery.

3. Stay away from bright and neon colors. They tend to clash with most other colors so it’s always better to stick with neutrals.
